Hmmm. Dance All Around Europe! Incredible feeling just to think
about it, emotions, memories, work, and what a great new
friendships... I couldn't say that that wasn't
one of my biggest and best time in my life.... it was great,
huge work, really incredible huge... to host 10 countries different peoples,
habits, thoughts, mentality...
That was our first project what we host, my first
application, and first success. I really proud to said I was the
main coordinator of Dance All Around Europe! International Youth
Exchange, coordinator for 12 days of 70 different life, habit,
and heart... Can you imagine? ...but not run so further... start
it in the beginning.... |

The Dance All Around Europe! history starts in 2005 August
when we decided in a training to make it, and from ther it is
near took one
year to really make it true.
I remember when we decided to do it, everybody said you
couldn't do it it is too much, you are crazy, 10 country is more
than you can do.... OK...Yeah men, you are right but not in
everything. I'm crazy a youth program crazy... BUT We done it...
the project happened. We involved 10 country and 70 youngsters |

Yeah, keep together 10 country it is not easy... you need quite
big motivation to do it. It takes 2 months to find partners who
are as motivated as us for our project, and one month more till
all of the part III-s arrived.
During the application writing we had many problems, we
changed many thing, at first the theme to European Awareness and
Social Exclusion, and decided to keep art and culture as a tool.
Of course find hostel for 70 people it is not easy... without
money, out before the supported time, without decision, and
food, who eat what... allergies and all the other stuff these
are problems but not so big, the key to make a project is the
communication. |

During the writing session it happens to I sent daily 5 letters
to ask help or just ask the partners everything is right? I
this period the second big success after the part III-s arrived,
when you can hold the filled application form in your hand...
before send it... you should try it that feeling is different
from everything, you will be addict :) to that feeling. |

But the feeling when you get a big and heavy envelope from the
NA and when you start to open it you know... Yesssss... The
project get the support... at that moment everything changed all
stuff what we thought before could be true... that is so
wonderful to tell the others Hey our project wins you could buy
the tickets :). |

The first big meeting for the leaders... the APV when you first
time see the others in live, not just in the monitor. the
feeling when you go to the airport to meet some strangers, and
after the APV let your friends to go home to came back in 3
weeks.. In the APV we can discuss and have to discuss many
thing... and at the end of the APV had some product the Exchange
Agreement, what was our common law pact during the exchange, and
of course first time to have party together. |

And after the APV the days ran so fast, we gone to buy
everything for the exchange and plan who catch up who at the
airport. The day arrived... 7th of July the Exchange started. We
were in the airport to catch up the groups. |

In the first two days we didn't do something else just
teambuilding it was necessary because the big group, and to
reach our goal to make the final performance. |
|
We make together the motto of the exchange: "Everyone come from
different countries we speak different languages we have really
different life, habits, culture, but we are all here today, we
feel like one people, together hand in hand…" |

The most important program elements |

We had together charity performance for an association what
support children who had cancer. |
|
The program and the company is getting better and better day by
day... we have great intercultural night parties at the
evenings |

hmm. the morning radio. Each day one country get the chance to
make morning wake up by the radio system for the others, it was
really good, ok at first day it was terrible :) THX chix... :P |

and the City Rally... that was nice everybody enjoy it we got
the chance the go in Kecskemét's theatre... but not just in the
audience part... |

and we also got the chance to climb up to the big church tower.
yeah and they have to find the food place :P hehehehe |

During the program in the evening free time it is several times
happens our participants made the own program... that's why we
had Break Battle and a Capueira Roda in the main square. |

during the working days we work hard on our topics had serious
discussions on, what is Europe exactly means, and why peoples
live in socially excluded... and how to help to be involved, |
|
we also have conversations about the new Youth in Action Program
and the youth program to get knowledge about our supporters. and
get chance to invent some new project ideas. |

our art and media workshop they done better job than we think
before we got each day presentation about what happened
yesterday, and finally a DVD about the daily happenings and
video about the exchange |

. It is also some really good product, and the exchange introduction... when they first time
saw the video what we make to represent the exchange... woww. |

|
We made together T-shirts. ok we exactly planed the logo
together what appears on the T-shirts, and we get the chance to
see how it will be true. |
|
The beginning of the exchange everybody get one pass holder with
the most important information. On the card you could see a
picture and a nickname country about everybody, in the
other side were the most important phone numbers and other
information. |

The main product of the exchange was at 15th of July in 2006 in
Kecskemét's main square we had our project final show. |
|
We performance in front of 5000 person in live and other 2000 in
live in internet because it was broadcasted. |

After the huge performance we made a street party collaborated
with the regional radio in the main square where we parting
together with 4000 people. |
|
During the night our participants get the chance to rap in
live in the radio, and also our Dj-s get the chance to make
music for the party. |
|

|
After the party and the plenty of work day we get a day of in
the public bath in Kecskemét. It was really fun we played beach
volleyball and have some pool fun. for all day :) |

this free day was the day also to got our project end dinner
what was again really good we had a great "last dinner"
together. |

we built up really good relationship with the local peoples. |
|
During the daily and the final evaluation all participants have
the chance to tell their thoughts about the exchange the
programs, they also can do it in day time they could let
evaluation messages at a flipchart paper all time. |

Yes and we will all remember the farewell party when the boys
getting girls and the girls be macho boys for an evening... it
was a really crazy party. |

When project ends everybody getting more rich with 70 new friends.
I think the project was wonderful, and it was a really good time
of my life. |
